Writing a Cover Letter freaks out a lot of people. They find it intimidating and don't know where to start.
And I get that.
It's not something we do everyday, so it would make sense if we don't get a lot of practice writing them.
And even if you have a lot of experience with business writing, that still doesn't help you know which brilliant things to say about yourself to make the hiring manager determined to meet you.
Where do I start? What do I highlight ? How do I say it? How can I avoid sounding like a dork? Why do even need to do this, my resume speaks for itself...
If you are one of the people asking yourself these questions, I have good news and bad news for you.
The bad news is that NO RESUME SHOULD GO OUT WITHOUT A COVER LETTER 😬
A cover letter is an essential part of getting your resume noticed, and ultimately getting people interested in meeting with you. Without one, your chances of getting an interview are significantly lower. That's all there is to it.
But here's the good news. Writing one is way easier when you have a solid framework to work within. 💯
And I got you covered. Np.
